Post Script

A friend and i recently took a trip to the elusive PS Cafe at Palais Renaissance; a cafe that I've been waiting for a really long time to go to and finally saved up just enough for a meal there. Despite the controversial reviews on hungrygowhere.com lamenting about their poor service staff (which admittedly gave me second thoughts about going there), the crew which was present that day was earnest in their duties and pleasant in every way. The food was plentiful in their portions so you don't have to worry about leaving hungry, although in my opinion it was merely justified the heavy prices.

We had the Crab Tart ($32) and the PS Crispy Onion Burger ($29), of which the Crab Tart was admittedly seemed the best thing on the menu and definitely tasted the better out of the two as well. The distinctive and lovely ambience with high ceilings, mirrored interiors and panes of glass on all four walls made the dining experience extraordinary, and i will be back to try the famous truffle fries and the many desserts. One aspect i disagree with though, is that it is essential to order at least one main or salad per person so get ready to break the bank. PS Cafe definitely deserves a visit, although the heavy prices will ensure you do so sparingly.☺
