awfully glad

So today is the day i officially become an AC girl; having graduated from their training course. I think Awfully Chocolate is all about unconventionality, from their baffling (bordering on absurd) interviews and their surprising training methods. If you're planning to work here you should totally be prepared for unexpected. In the best way possible.

I love the company and how friendly everyone is, even the office staff and right down to the gorgeous interiors of the office space. Joining this company for my holiday job is definitely one of the better decisions i've made so far this year, no regrets.

AC training also included tasting every one of the desserts on the menu so we would have an idea of recommending them to each customer. My personal favourites are the creme brûlée, champagne truffles and the salted hazelnut brownie. I think whats most impressive is that Awfully Chocolate vertically integrates their signature chocolate right down to their very own cocoa beans. How cool is that.

Also, i found out that i was pretty good at piping. Hope to do more of that in the future ☺
