ootd: white on white in the national gallery


If there's any place in Singapore that's simply made for taking ootds it would probably be the newly opened National Gallery. The high ceilings, marble banisters and wooden accents make for beautiful photo compositions with any model, and the natural lighting bathing the place is every photographer's dream. I mused that the interior's aesthetic (being so darn photogenic) would bring more publicity for the gallery through insta-shots than any advertising campaign would.
Today's outfit features a subtle attempt at mixing prints and textures. It'll be a tad intimidating to attempt a Linda Hao-esque combination just yet so why not experiment with the most understated (yet classic!) of colours; white? I remember reading somewhere that the key to mixing prints is maintaining a common running colour, which is what sews this stripe and crochet two piece together.  X
