Somebody Pinch Me

Talk about monday blues: I would never have expected that i would one day wake up to such a breathtaking view at 8am in the morning; rolling fields, droopy clouds and a whole blanket of blue for a sky as far as the eye can see. My family's recent vacation to the Shangri-la's Trader's Hotel in Johor Bahru was absolutely luxurious; think swimming in an iridescent pool, walks by the pier, light holiday reading and of course, the plethora of cuisines at hotel buffets.

PS. Does anyone have the odd habit of arranging buffet plates as if they were plating for a restaurant? I know i do.

My contented, 'it was a good vacation but its great to be back' face. I'm sure going to miss the gorgeous views each morning and the sashimi rosettes, but I'm also extremely excited for the upcoming Christmas events and oh god, lets not forget the fact that the new year is about 11 days away!
