the accidental hipster

My mum told me yesterday to get a pair of spectacles "that everyone is wearing nowadays, which makes them seem cooler than they actually are". Exhibit A: Nic's glasses, which transforms him into the accidental hipster.

We spent a nice day at dhoby gaught as well as Rockstar's pop up store in the building next to the Mcdonald's house, which i often deem the most stately building in Singapore because of its signature red brick walls.

Im rather excited for chinese new year; meeting funny old relatives and seeing the rows of chinese snackage neatly lined up like stiff soldiers conjure warm familiar feels which bring me back to when i was a small little girl sitting on my grandparents' lap.
